Tirol 5 days
The group is accommodated in the region of Radfeld, wherefrom interesting excursions in the near surroundings are made. During this stay the group gets to know culture, history and nature of the Tyrol.
1st day: Innsbruck - Check-in
Arrival in Innsbruck in the morning, guided tour of Innsbruck (old town), admission to the city tower and the church of the royal court (admission charges included). In the afternoon visit of the alpine zoo with more than 800 animals (funicular to the zoo and admisson fee incl) Leisure time and at the end of the afternoon check-in at the pension in the region Radfeld. Dinner and night.
2nd day: Museum of farmhouses inKramsach and Rattenberg
In the morning visit of the city Rattenberg, small town which is well konwn for crystal and glass production. Lunch in the pension. In the afternoon visit of the muesum of Tyrolean farmhouses in Kramsach (admission fee + guided tour incl). Dinner and night.
3rd day: silver mines in Schwaz and boat trip on lake Achensee
In the morning visit of the silver mines in Schwaz (admission incl). During the visit of approx. 2 h, the group discovers the silver mines which were the most important ones in Europe in the 15th century. Lunch = packed lunch. In the afternoon continuation to lake Achensee, the biggest lake in the Tyrol, to make a boat trip from Seespitz to Scholastika (incl.). Back to the pension by bus. Dinner and night.
4th day: hiking tour in Alpbach or Reith and swimming centre in Alpbach
In the morning hiking tour in Alpbach or Reith. By chair lift or cable car (incl) the group gets to the hiking areas in Alpbach or Reith (both appropriate for kids). Depending on the weather and the age of children the tour lasts 2 – 3 hours. and will make an approx 2 - 3 h tour in alpine regions. Lunch = packed lunch. In the afternoon visit of the indoor swimming centre in Alpbach (admission incl). In the late afternoon back to the pension. Dinner and night.
5th day: departure (and eventually visit)
Departure after breakfast with packed lunch for the journey. Depending on availability of the bus and itinerary we suggest a visit of e.g. Munich, castle Neuschwanstein, lake Constance, Ötzidorf etc.
