Holiday camp in the Tyrol

Taking into consideration that these programmes are especially made for children of 10 – 13 years, we have elaborated a suitable programme and we have suggested pensions disposing of a play ground. A stay of 8 days in the Tyrol offers a well-balanced mixture of cultural excursions (Innsbruck, Salzburg), sport and pedagogical activities (games, sport, meeting with Tyrolean pupils, lessons).

1st day: Innsbruck
In the morning arrival in Innsbruck and guided tour of the old town : admission to the city tower and the royal church incl. Lunch is not included. In the afternoon visit of the Alpine zoo, with more than 800 animals (funicular to the zoo and admission to the zoo incl). At the end of the afternoon continuation to the pension. Dinner and night.

2nd day: Rattenberg and lesson
In the morning visit of Rattenberg, smallest city in the Tyrol, well known by its glass and crystal production. Lunch at the pension. In the afternoon lesson or leisure time. Dinner and night.

3rd  day: (eventually meeting with a tyrolean school class) and waterfalls of Krimml
In the morning meeting with a tyrolean school class (if possible). Lunch at the pension. In the afternoon excursion to the waterfalls of Krimml, which are among the 5 highest in the world (admission incl.). Walk to the top of them on foot. Back to the pension, dinner and night.

4th day: silver mines in Schwaz and boat trip on lake Achensee
In the morning visit of the silver mines in Schwaz (admission incl). During an approx. 2 h visit by little train and on foot the group discovers the silver mines, which were the most important ones in Europe in the 15th century. Lunch = packed lunch. In the afternoon continuation to lake Achensee, the biggest lake in the Tyrol and boat trip (incl) from Seespitz to Scholastika. Back to the pension by bus. Dinner and night.

5th day: hiking tour and leisure time or lessons
Hiking tour in the surroundings (cable car incl.). According to weather conditions and age of participants the tour lasts 2 – 3 h and leads the group to the tyrolean mountains. Packed lunch. Back to the pension in the afternoon. Leisure time or lessons. Dinner and night.

6th day: Salzburg
Full day excursion to Salzburg. In the morning guided sight seeing tour in town, and a little leisure time. Packed lunch. In the afternoon the group can choose between the visit of the castle Hohensalzburg, with a nice view of the city (funicular and admission to the castle incl.) OR the visit of the trick fountains of Hellbrunn castle (admission incl). Back to the pension, dinner and night.

7th day: Museum of Tyrolean Famhouses and little walking tour
In the morning visit of the Museum of Tyrolean Farmhouses in Kramsach (admission and guided tour incl.) and little walking tour in Kramsach. Guide for the walking tour. Back to the pension in the afternoon or leisure time at the Reintaler See, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Tyrol. Dinner and night

8th day: Departure and visit (depending on the group’s itinerary)
Departure after breakfast with packed lunch for the journey. Depending on availability of the bus and intinerary we suggest another visit as e.g. Munich, castle of Neuschwanstein, lake Constance, crystal wolrd in Wattens etc.
